Nurture myself and others
Let’s Begin with the Affirmation for Week 41!
I don’t have to be a part of any special groups in order to honor my talent(s). I was born with certain qualities that allow me to stand out from any crowd. It may be possible as a sexual abuse survivor that I’ve placed my uniqueness off to the side, or perhaps forgotten about them altogether as life does go on.
Today I can recall the things about myself which brought me joy as a child. It may be just a slight glimmer of sparkle or an extreme, inevitable difference that I contain within myself known as talent(s). Just because I had to face sexual abuse, it does not mean that my gifts have gone away from me.
I may enjoy telling jokes, running marathons, performing art, or being an intensive listener. No matter the expectation or length of my gifts, I can cultivate them today. As a sexual abuse survivor, it is important for me to celebrate myself.
It’s unnecessary for me to think too hard when it comes to acknowledging my born talent(s). Even if I assume that they’ve been “lost” along the way, I can still refresh those gifts with a newfound mindset. My talent(s) is key in order to bring about the special changes in the light of my surroundings as a sexual abuse survivor. Therefore, I choose to acknowledge and give thanks to my talent(s) going forward each day.
“I HAVE TALENT(S)”
Visualize the Affirmation, see it in color or as shaded black and white, however, the mind perceives it, allow for the current response to form naturally. Listen to yourself without judgment and begin to frequently journal this process as you transition the mind to higher knowledge of yourself.
Our reality at balance begins at the very moment as the work is placed forth by your intent to grow and change for the betterment of self, aiding in the improvement of mankind!
Balance & Peace…
